The Senior Open Presented by Rolex

The Senior Open Presented by Rolex will be played on the testing Royal Lytham & St Annes links this year, which last hosted a men’s Major in 2012 when Ernie Els picked up his second Claret Jug at The Open.

In 2018, Miguel Angel Jiménez summoned up the spirit of the late, great Seve Ballesteros by following in the footsteps of his fellow Spaniard in capturing a Major Championship at The Home of Golf.

The Senior Open was introduced in 1987 at Turnberry in Ayrshire when Neil Coles, the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the PGA European Tour, won the inaugural title. The 2019 edition promises to be one of the best ever with a litany of Europe and America’s best players descending on the Lancashire coast.
